CHINA LAUNCHES CAR THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE EVOQUE &CHEAPER TOO…(PHOTOS)
At initial glance,you would surely mistake it for a range rover evoque report says.It was first seen at the motor show in china and it is manufactured by chinese car maker Landwind ( doesn't that even sound similar to land rover..LOL ) At 14,000 pounds its a far from the 40,000 price tag of the evoque range rover.( china kai! smh )
There are quite some similarities in the body shape,so much so that you would surely mistake it for an updated version of the evoque.like the lights and the radiator grill and the signature silver logo across the front edge of its bonnet.
This uncanny similarities has provoked an angry response from jaguar land rover and they have threatened legal action.This comes just after the british car maker opened their first factory in china,in collaboration with a chinese local firm named chery.
Jaguar land rover chief exec.Dr Ralf Speth had this to say:
" The fact that this kind of copying is ongoing in china is very disappointing.The intellectual
property ( IP) is owned by jaguar land rover and if you break that IP then you are in breach
of international regulations"
