THE ART OF SAYING NO...(A MUST READ )



Are you a person who finds it difficult saying NO? Even when you are being put under pressure and you know what you are being asked to do is wrong,or illegal,or simply isn't what you want at that time? For people who are so used to saying " YES" to everything asked of them,you may find the word " NO" lodging in your throat until you practice saying it over and over again.

TIPS TO SAYING NO GRACEFULLY

1) SAY NO POLITELY AND GIVE REASONS WHY YOU HAVE TO REFUSE: Whats more, saying yes all the time is not healthy,and can have a negative impact on your mental health.Be assured that saying NO sometimes doesnt mean that you are selfish or mean.

2) CONSIDER YOUR RESPONSE: Its always a good idea to give every request a little consideration before deciding whether it is okay or not to commit to it.Ask yourself whether you would really want to do that or not.

3) KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE WHILE AT IT: It wouldn't make any impact if you are saying No and smiling.when you keep a straight face,but yet polite,you will be taken more seriously by the person you are speaking to.

4) AND AFTERWARDS : Be composed,be yourself and do not beat yourself  up because you did something right.Go back to whatever you were doing and rest assured that you have done the right thing.
